I got an e-mail asking there are any swimming beach in Naoshima.

We have a public beach with shower-rooms in front of Tsutsuji-so Lodge.
We call the beach "Gotanji beach".
(Tsutsuji means "azalea" which is Naoshima Town's Flower.)
Shower rooms are in Tsutsuji-so area.
Unfortunately it is not near Miyanoura port. Tsutsuji-so is near Bennese area.
You can see the yellow pumpkin from the beach.

You can download an area Map from my website
Please check Tsumuura-Gotanji Area, Page 12.
You can take a bus and get off at Tsutsuji-so bus stop to go there.
And you can find the panoramic view of Gotanji beach in followed pdf file.
